Compliments

Afton and I were driving in my car last night. I had just spent the day at home with Afton and Mya, so we were reviewing some of the fun things we'd done that day. And then we had this conversation:

Me: "Afton, I love you."

Afton: "Dad, I love you."

Me: "You are so cute."

Afton: "You are so handsome."

Me: "You make me laugh."

Afton: "And you are funny, too."

Me: "You sure run really fast."

Afton: "You are a good eye-checker."
