Simple Instructions
Stef's instructions to me late last night knowing she'd be leaving early for a volleyball tournament:
"The girls need a bath in the morning. When they get out, just blow dry their hair."
Oh, just that? Just blow dry their hair, eh? Did she forget what my head looks like? Ignore the fact that I haven't ever used a blow dryer. I haven't done anything with hair other than shave it for a decade. I'm about as familiar with a blow dryer and long hair as I am with stirrups and a horse. She might as well have told me to crochet a blanket for the baby after I was done.
