Letter to Santa

Afton's first letter to Santa. She wrote Santa, her name, and her age on it. Then she dictated the text of the letter to Stefanie:

Dear Santa,

Please can you give me a pillow pet and a dog that barks and walks. Please can you give me it for Christmas.

Thank you, Afton (age 3)

Tree Decorating

The tree skirt that Stefanie made, continuing to perpetuate the truth of Stef's awesomeness.

Afton helping to unwrap the lights that, similar to extension cords, seem to be capable of shifting in boxes no matter how carefully you wrap them up at the end of the season.

Mya was quite careful and delicate with the decorations. We let the girls put them on the tree wherever they want, which normally means 75% of the decorations are on the bottom third of the tree. Last year Afton was pretty surprised when she woke up the next morning and all of the decorations had been moved to fill up the tree.

And after getting to this part of the post, I realized I didn't take a picture of the finished product. But there's Afton hamming it up. :)
